Customer Reviews: On 2007-10-03 00:00:00, 'Don Poe, EAR/Rational Staff Reviewer' gave the following review: Ambient techno from the middle east! Some songs have cool mid-eastern rhythms while others are 'locationless.' The beats are clear, but downtempo, helping you relax into sleep. Acoustic instruments are found in the mix to give this music a real organic feel - something sounds like an oboe, as one example. It has a mild Orb-feel to it, good rhythms playfully dance along with the melodies. There aren't samples, or that heavy Orb reverb, though. Very lush sounds, dreamy and surreal, make this a very rich and full sounding recording. A lot of work was done on this to make this a thick sound that is also very listenable.
