Customer Reviews: On 2009-09-29 00:00:00, 'Don Poe, EAR/Rational Staff Reviewer' gave the following review: Dark ambient noise. Imagine Brighter Death Now with less beats. This would work well on the Cold Meat Industries label because of it's heavily ominous growls and pain. The music is inspired by the Chernobyl reactor that melted down in the 90s. Tape loops, effects and the torture of thousands of families are heard in the music. Are they glorifying the disaster? I am don't really think so, they could be empathetic with the plight of the people that went through this disaster. Sounds samples from the media of the time are in the mix and mutely effected, giving voice to the concerns at the time. Lots of different drones and sounds build to create the sounds - this isn't just 1 note with filter sweeps. Instead many different sources come together to give a very rich and full sound.
