This really is a bit of a hard listen - in the way that difficult music should be. Abrasive beats, odd rhythms, and a strong stance on what music should sound like. Strange loops, tense electronics, all stuff that Alec Empire wishes he could do but is done so much better here. Sirens distorted dement what Public Enemy did with Bring the Noise. I can see myself blaring this album as I drive across the country at 3 AM and I am trying to stay awake. And yes, I do hear birds chirping in one of the tracks. This would be quite a live show.
